| The purpose is to study the therapeutic action and its action mechanism of Weierkang Acupoint Application (WAA) on chronic bronchitis in mice. The experiments below we have observed.WAA suppressed the cough reaction in mice. It prolonged the latent time and decreased the cough times. It dose-dependently prolonged the time to histamine-induced collapse.WAA 0.7-2.8g/kg po significantly increased the production of serum hemolysin and spleen plague forming cell (PFC) in normal mice immunized with SRBC.WAA remarkedly enhanced delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity ( DCH) to 2,4-dinitrochl-orobenzene (DNCB ) in normal mice.It also promoted the lymphocyte proliferation induced by PHA in mice.WAA markedly inhibited the mice ear edema produced by crot on oil and the weight of granuloma induced by cotton-pelets in rats. |
