Moxibustion Lieque Points Clinical Observations, Treatment Of Primary Alpine Dysmenorrhea Syndrome

Many women suffer from Dysmenorrhea. In clinic, we find it can be quickly relaxed by moxibustion the LieQue point , especially for the original dysmenorrhea.In this research, the measurement method has been adopted from "The treatment for pain of cancer" by WTO,1986. The evaluation method is adopted from "Clinical guide to dysmenorrhea by chinese herb" by MOH..1993. 76 patients were divided into 2 groups at random, one group taking the moxibustion treatment at LieQue point, and the contrast group taking the moxibustion treatment at GuanYuan point. Then the clinical efficiency was observed between the two groups.The result shows that, both groups are very effective, The obvservation group has 2 patients showing significant improvement (5%), 35 patients showing improvement (87.5%), 3 patients with inferiority of recovery (7.5%). The comparison group has 3 patients showing significant improvement (8.3%), 31 patients showing improvement (86.11%), 2 patients with inferiority of recovery (5.6%). It shows difference of p>0.05 between the treatment group and the contrast group. The obvservation group shows variation of 6.50±1.56, and after the treatment, it becomes 6.25±1.53；The comparison group shows variation of 2.84±0.65；after the treatment, it becomes 2.74±0.88； The tatistic difference of the befor treatment and the after treatment is statistic significance (p<0.05), As observed, LieQue point is the same sa GuanYuan point to relax dysmenorrhea, however LieQue point can be easyly find, and more easy to operate.
