Electro-acupuncture Needle For Lumbar Disc Herniation Clinical Research

In this paper ,patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion (LIDP) are divided into two groups, and accept pure acupuncture treatment and electric acupuncture treatment respectively for lOdays. Observe VAS , waist leg function, the integral calculus of ADL , and compare the points before curing with that after 5 times curing and after 10 times curing .The purpose is to observe the effect of LIDP with different pinprick methods, and then we can choose the best way to improve the effect.Clinical result manifestates the VAS , waist leg function, the integral calculus of ADL of both groups are improved , and shows obvious covariance after treatment . But those signs after treatment between two groups haven't show the covariance .After 5 times curing , the impovement of the pain degree in electic acupuncture group is more obvious than that in pure acupuncture , and have the covariance stasticly.This result of the lesson shows that both pure acupuncture and electric acupuncture have affirmative curative effect, thereforing can be used as a conservative treatment to cure the LIDP . But as far as alleviating pain concerns, electric acupuncture is characterized as taking effect quickly, alleviating pain effectively. Therefore, to alleviat the symptom of pain of LIDP , best choice is electric acupuncture.
