Objective: To analyze the apoptotic regulation of vary types of spermatogenic cell, supporting cell and Ley dig cell in the testes of patients with infertility. To evaluate the effect of Chinese Traditional Medicine, the Pill of regenerated spermatozoa treatment, on the apoptotic change in the testes of infertilityMethods: In a prospective, nonrandomized, noncontrolled, clinical study, Testicle puncture biopsy were taken in 30 patients with dys-spermatid in the testes, and 5 cases of normal testes. Carry on the rule pathology check and the TUNEL (terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated Dutp[deoxy-uridine triphosphate]nick end labeling) assay, (Td t ?TUNEL assay ), the changing of apoptotic indexes have been observed in vary types of spermatogenic celK supporting cell and Leydig cell in the convoluted seminiferous tubule of infertility .Result (s): Contrasted to normal group, apoptotic indexes obviously distinct in the convoluted seminiferous tubule of infertility, mainly expressing: the apoptotic indexes were increased in primary spermatocyte and secondary spermatocyte; the apoptotic indexes decreased in spermatid and sperm, the apoptotic indexes were decreased in primary spermatocyte and secondary spermatocyte while increased in ospermatid and sperm after treating with the Pill of regenerated spermatozoa in patients; and indexes of the semen parameters were obviously improved. Conclusion: From the apoptotic mechanism, we found that the apoptotic indexes were increased in primary spermatocyte and secondary spermatocyte while decreased in ospermatid and sperm in the testes of patients with infertility. The Pill of regenerated spermatozoa can readjusted the imbalance in spermatogenic cell with apoptotic turbulence, and obviously improved the spermatogenic function of the testes in infertilities.
