Bronchiectasis Clinical And Experimental Research, Mixture Treatment Of Bronchiectasis

The systemically research was made on bronchiectasis through three parts including theory inquiry, clinical observation and animal experiment.In the first part, the literature related to bronchiectasis in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and modern medical science. And the etiology and pathogenesis of bronchiectasis were overviewed, generalized and summarized for different treatments of bronchiectasis by TCM and the present situation of bronchiectasis. We deal with the problem of bronchiectasis with the point of TCM. We realize the main pathogenesis of bronchiectasis are that the phlegm and stasis obstruct in the lung, and that the damage of yin of the lung. So we take integrative methods including clearing away heat, reducing phlegm, leaving stasis, etc. This method is good from the point of clinic. Zhikuoning Decoction was formed on the base of above theories, and it has good effects on bronchiectasis in clinical practice. To explore the therapeutic mechanism of zhikuoning Decoction befits us to expend minds to find better therapeutic approach, and can provide a scientific explanation for effectiveness of TCM.In the second part, the clinical effects of zhikuoning Decoction were observed through the experiment of clinical. We take the method of grading the symptom of the patients .We observe the effect of zhikuoning Decoction and explore its machine .42 bronchiectasic patients in acute phase were randomly divided into two parts: 21 patients were treated with zhikuoning Decoction and ofloxacin, and 21 patients were treated with ofloxacin as control group. The improvements of main symptoms were observed, and the level of the Blood RT, ESR, CRP, and IL-8andTNF were measured respectively before and after treatment. The results showed the comprehensive therapeutic effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group. After treatment the different inflammatory cells in the treatment group declined. The clinical research proves that zhikuoning Decoction is effective complex prescription for bronchiectasis, which is valuable for further research and utilizing. ZhikuoningDecoction has satisfactory effect in improving the inflammation in the lungs of bronchiectasis .In the third part, by means of modern experimental method, explore the Zhikuoning Decoction by molecular biological method .The bronchiectasis model of big rats was established by intrabronchial injection with Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. Compared with the control group treated with ofloxacin. After two weeks of treatment, the model of bronchiectasis was made. Then we can count the number of WBC of the blood, the cytotaxonomy and the bacterial colony of bronchoalveolar (BAL) of the different column of rats.Conclusion: Zhikuoning Decoction has satisfactory effect in improving the inflammation in the lungs of bronchiectasis by lowering inflammation cells density & inhibiting the release of inflammatory cytokines, mediators of inflammation.
