The systematic research was carried out on studying Zhonging'sprinciple of formation of prescription and TCM's theories of stasis combining withcontemporary theories,experimental and clinical results of TCM and Westernmedicine.Those will be of great importance to develope classical prescriptionsand improve the effect of TCM on treating depression and understand the mechanismof treating depression of classical prescriptions. The principal contents and conclusions in this study: 1 Based on studying literature systematically,the article discussed andsummed up the informations of clinical use and experiment about SiNi Powder(SNP)and supplemented SiNi Powder,then analysed the research progress about5-HT system related to depression.
