| In this article, two parts are included. One is the literature review, the other is the clinical study report. The literature review consists of two parts. The first is about the general situation of eczema research in traditional Chinese medicine. It includes the historical names of eczema, recognition of the pathogeny and mechanism of eczema, internal and topical treatment and the new research progress within ten years. The second is about the research progress of eczema in modern medicine, and the results of recent research are introduced. The clinical study report consists of two parts. One is about the treatment for 39 patients of hand eczema in Chinese medicine, The other investigates the types of eczema in Chinese medicine and summarizes the QuXing's clinical experience of treatment for eczema.Hand eczema is both hard to cure and easy to recur. So we hope to provide some clinical treatment gist for eczema through observing the curative effect in 39 patients of hand eczema. We divide eczema into 3 types: retention of dampness-heat in skin, dampness retention due to deficiency of spleen, dryness of blood and dampness. Through internal and topical treatment, the cure rate is up to 71.8%. It means that the therapy has a significant curative effect. The problem is that the period for this study is too short for us to do more, for example the Stat. of the recrudescence of hand eczema. It is a pity.In the second part, we do some research about the types of eczema in Chinese medicine through investigating 208 eczema patients. There existed 5 types: blood-heat and excess of dampness; dampness-heat of liver and gallbladder, dampness retention due to deficiency of spleen, dampness-heat and noxious stasis; dryness of blood and dampness. We consider that the stages of eczema in modern medicine have some relations with the types of eczema in Chinese medicine, but they are not completely same. At the same time, Teacher QuXing has worked in dermatology department for more than 20 years. She has abundant experience in clinic. We summarize her experience in treatment of eczema, and give an introduction. We hope to supply some rules to clinician. |
