Flavored Gualou Xiebai Decoction On Blood Lipid Regulation And Hemorheology

Objectives: On the basis of the clinical observation and experimental study, the influences of Jiawei Kuolou Xiebai Banxia decoction (JKXB) on experimental Hyperlipidemia in rats were studied. The blood lipid, blood circulation and the anti-lipoperoxide function were observed to sort out the effect of the JKXB in the treatment of Hyperlipidemia and part of its mechanisms.Methods: TThe influence on the experimental Hyperlipidemia in rats, the rats are sub-divided randomly into the normal control group, the model group, Pravachol group, and finally, big, middle, and small groups according to PRAVACHOL. 1. Enzyme analysising and immunization photoextinction methods were used individually to detect the levels of total cholesterol (TC) , triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c), apolipoprotein A (ApoAl)and apolipoprolein B (ApoB100)in blood. 2. The observation of the improve of hemorheology by testing whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and red-cell specific volume; 3. Use enzyme methods to detect superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA).Results: The results showed that JKXB has the following effects: 1. It obviously reduces the levels of TC, TG, LDL-c, sdLDL, ApoB100 in rats' blood, showing obvious difference from the model group ( P<0.05 or P < 0.01 ) , it increases the levels of HDL-c and ApoAI in rats' serum, showing obvious difference from the model group (P<0.05 or P < 0.01 ) . 2. It obviously reduces the levels of whole blood viscosity (low high ), plasma viscosity and red-cell specific volume, showing obvious difference from the model group ( P<0.01 ) . 3. It obviously increases the level of SOD, and decreases the level of MDA in rats' serum ( P<0.01 ) .Conclusions: 1. JKXB has reduces TC, TG, LDL, sdLDL and ApoB100 in rats' blood and promotion of HDL and ApoAI.. The results showed that JKXB had an obvious effect for the treatment of Hyperlipidemia. The effect may related to the function of promoting ApoAI and decreasing ApoB. 2. JKXB can improve the blood circulation: by decrease the blood viscosity of the rats in model group, thus promote metabolism of the lipid. 3. Anti-lipoperoxide: JKXB can reduce the level of MDA, increase the level of SOD in serum,reduce the formation of lipoperoxide, degenerate phlegm and stasis------the majorconponent of lipid, therefore to achieve the effect of Hyperlipidemia and AS prevention.
