Objective: To probe into the mechanism of Shenquetie treating bleeding after medical abortion.Method: 60SD early-pregnancy rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (12 for each) 1.modify group; 2 model group 3.Yimucao group 4.Shenquetie in bigger dosage group 5. Shenquetie in smaller dosage group Except modify group, Mifepristone and Misoprostol were given to early-pregnancy rats orally. Through the experiment ,the quality of bleeding after medical abortion ,contraction of the uterine smooth muscle, the quality of NO and NOS in uterine, prolong clotting time.Result: Compared with modify group , Shenquetie has obvious effect in reducing the quality of bleeding after medical abortion; promoting the uterine smooth muscle contract; decreasing the quality of NO and NOS in uterine.Conclusion: Shenquetie surely has effect on treating bleeding after medical abortion .The mechanism is probably due to the comprehensive effects, which includes reducing the quality of bleeding after medical abortion; promoting the uterine smooth muscle contract; decreasing the quality of NO and NOS in uterine ; prolong clotting time; promoting the uttering repair; curing the uterine inflammation.
