1.ObjectiveThe study is to explore the new situation in treating Malassezia series dermatonosis with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). To observe the clinical effect of Xiangbai Shampoo on the patients with pityriasis versicolor(PV) or seborrheic dermatitis of scalp(SDS). To select the traditional Chinese medicines which can inhibit Malassezia growth.2.MethodsClinical observation section: 40 patients with PV were divided into two groups: the study group and the control group.75 patients with SDS were divided into three groups at random: the study group(SG), the control group(CG) and the placebo group(PG). Patients in CG used 2% ketoconazole shampoo, while the patients in SG used Xiangbai shampoo.Susceptibility test section: The MICs of the trational Chinese medicine were measured with liquor microdilution method, including Shenma, Juhua, Kushen, Baibu, Chaihu, Cebaiye, Xiangfu, Zaoci, Jingjie, Tujinpi, Huajiao, Fangfeng, Bohe and complex of TCM.3.Result3.1 There were 40 patients with PV, 21s were in SG, the others were in CG. After the treatment of one week, the clinical symptom cure rate was 47.6% in SG, while it was 57.8%(P>0.05)in CG. The mycetology cure rate was 57.1% in SG, while it was 63.1% (P>0.05) in CG. After the treatment of two weeks, the clinical symptom cure rate was 85.7% in SG, while it was 73.7%(P>0.05)in CG. The mycetology cure rate was 95.2% in SG, while it was 89.5% (P>0.05) in CG.3.2 There were 75 patients with SDS, 30 patients in SG and CG, 15 patients in PG.After the treatment of four weeks, 78.9% were cured and excellent to the symptom of erythema in SG(CG 38.9%, PG 14.2%, P<0.01); 76.7% to dandruff (CG 58.6%, P>0.05; PG 26.7%, P<0.01); 68.2% to itching (CG 59.1%, P>0.05; PG 20.0%, P <0.01); 69.6% to seborrhea of hair (CG 69.6%, P>0.05; PG 20.0%, P<0.01); total efficacy rate were 73.3% in SG (CG 56.6%, P>0.05; PG 20.0%, P<0.01).3.3 Results of susceptibility test: The MIC of the traditional medicine :... |
