Acute Ischemic Stroke Of Prognosis Factors And Syndrome Characteristics Study

ObjectiveTo investigate the evolution character of ischemic stroke acute phase and the relationship between syndromes evolution and the prognosis of stroke patients and to find the risk factors of prognosis from TCM syndromes by analysis the situation of ischemic stroke acute phase and by observe the syndromes in different time.MethodCollecting the clinic information in time when the patient is allowed by the entrance standard, the period is one month. The patients in stroke acute phase are divided into three groups that is death relapse and unrelapse according to prognosis. Judging the clinic effect by observing the changing of NIHSS mark. Analizing each group when the patients are allowed in. Analizing the state of syndromes evolution by describing statistics. After observing all the patients, investigate the situation of each patient by telephone and analysis the state of each died and relapse patient.ResultsBy single factor analysis, the prognosis of the ischemic stroke patients are unrelated with age,sex, and initial symptom. the prognosis of the ischemic stroke patients may be related to infarction position, complicated with hypertension, the number of complications, the mark of NIHSS, the type of the main initial syndrome, the point value of initial syndrome. The more the number of the complications are, the poorer the prognosis is.The prognosis of the patients complicated with hypertension may be poor.The prognosis of the patients whose main initial syndromes is firesyndrome, phlegmsyndrome and blood-stasis syndrome is much poorer than those whose main syndromes is other syndromes.The higher the point value of initial wind syndrome, the poorer the prognosis is.By multivariable statistical analysis, The main factors affecting the prognosis of the patients are complicated with hyper-tension, complicated with coronary heart disease, the initial main syndrome (blood-stasis syndrome, phlegmsyndrome, and firesyndrome),the point value of initial syndrome (firesyndrome , blood-stasis syndrome, hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome) .The Possibility of the better prognosis wouid be increasing, if the patient has a higher point value of initial blood-stasis syndrome or/and. hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome or/and have no complicated with hyper-tension.The Possibility of the worse prognosis wouid be increasing, if the patient has a higher point value of initial firesyndrome or/and have no complicated with coronary heart disease or/and have the initial main syndrome (blood-stasis syndrome, phlegmsyndrome, and firesyndrome) .By describing statistics analysis,the dynamic evolution of iresyndrome,phlegmsyndrome, Qi-deficiency syndrome,hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome have some indications for the prognosis of ischemic stroke acute phase.If the patient have a higher point value of firesyndrome, phlegmsyndrome and Qi-deficiency syndrome,the disease would have a worse prognosis.If the patient have a higher point value of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome,the disease would have a better prognosis.
