| Objective: To observe the changes of urinary protein and expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), Endothelin-1(ET-1) , and Transforming growth factor β -1 (TGF- β 1) in the rats kidney tissues with Adriamycin nephropathy; To explore the impaired mechanism of Adriamycin nephropathy at early stage and the protection and its mechanism of the Chinese medicine decoction of spleen-supplementation and kidney-boosting.Methods: Randomly divide male SD rats into model group, western medicine group, Chinese medicine group (low dosage), Chinese medicine group (middle), and Chinese medicine group (high) and control group. Besides the control group that is injected normal sodium, all other groups are injected (ADR)6.5mg/kg by the tails vein to establish the AN models. All groups are given relative medicines after 14 days while the control group and model group are given normal sodium. Detect 24-hour urine protein, after 14, 28, and 42 days respectively. Detect Scr and BUN before the model established and end of the experiment.Take the kidney tissues to observe the change of morphology and examine the expression of VEGF, TGF- β 1, ET-1 by the method of Immunohistochemistry, and analyze the relative data and their interrelationship.Results: (1)After the model establishment, the rats with AN has albuminuria after 7 days that becomes more obvious after 14 days. At this time,There is statistically significance compared model groups with blank group(P<0.05), There is statistically significance compared all treatment groups with model group(P<0.05) after 28 days. There is statistically significance compared Chinese medicine group (high) with western medicine group(P < 0.05) after 42 days.
