| Objects: In order to investigate the effect of "supplementing Qi and moving Blood circulation " formula on acute cerebral infarction inflammation response, we set up a post-stroke rat model and observe the changes of TNF- α and ICAM-1 in brain after cerebral ischemia and nerve function.Methods: All rats are divided randomly into 4 groups as following: normal group, model group, formula group, Cyclophosphamide group. Give drugs to rats before making models once a day, give drugs until kills all rats. Set up a focal cerebral ischemia rat model by occluded right middle cerebral artery of rat. After making model of MCAO, all rats are observed with 5 grades of nerve function. 24 hours after making model of MCAO, all rats are killed and observed by the expression of TNF-a and ICAM-1 in the rat brains. All data are tested by ONE-WAY ANOVA with SPSS11.5.Results: Nerve function losses of formula group and cydophosphamide group decreased. The expression of TNF- α and ICAM-1 is very weak, increase after making models. The expression of TNF- α and ICAM-1 in formula group and cydophosphamide group are decreased. The effect of formula is close to the effect of cydophosphamide.Conclusion: "supplementing Qi and moving Blood circulation " formula can lessens nerve function, reduces The expression of TNF- α and ICAM-1 in brain. After acute cerebral ischemia "supplementing Qi and moving Blood circulation " formula can inhibit MCAO model rat inflammation response and depress the level of TNF- α and ICAM-1. The effect of formula is close to the effect of cydophosphamide. So we can speculate that "supplementing Qi and moving Blood circulation " formula can lessens nerve function by inhibiting inflammation response. |
