Intervention. Yiqihuoxue On Early Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective The objective of the study is to observe the effect of Chinese medicine which can boost qi and blood quickening in early diabetic nephropathy by clinical study. And we try to display the mechanism in molecular level to find out the academic evidence of boost qi and blood quickening method to prevent and cure early diabetic nephropathy. Methods Sixty-nine early diabetic nephropathy patients were divided into two teams named treatment group and control group. Course of treatment is three months. The purpose is to observe the action of Chinese drug which can boost qi and blood quickening on urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER), nitric oxide(NO), endothelin(ET) and fibronectin(FN). The results show that Chinese medicine could reduce the urinary albumin excretion rate and the levels of nitric oxide and endothelin and fibronectin. There is markedly difference between treatment group and control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion The clinical study indicated that Chinese medicine which can boost qi and blood quickening has good curative effect on early diabetic nephropathy. The Chinese medicine could to alleviate patients' clinical symptom, reduce the urinary albumin excretion rate. The Chinese medicine which can boost qi and blood quickening could alleviate the damage of renal plasma flow and glomerular filtration rate on kidney and so to cure the early diabetic nephropathy by decreasing the levels of nitric oxide, endothelin and fibronectin.
