PART ONE THE EFFECT OF ERYTHROPOIETIN ON HEMODYNAMIC STATUS AND INFARCT SIZE OF LEFT VENTRICLE IN RATS WITH ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTIONObjective: The size of myocardial infarction in the left ventricle and hemodynamic status are determining factors in the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). There is a close correlation between the size of myocardial infarction in the left ventricle and hemodynamic status in the patients with AMI. To reduce the size of myocardial infarction in the left ventricle and improve hemodynamic status will contribute much to the prognosis of AMI patients. As one of cellular growth factor superfamily members, many studies in vivo and in vitro have demonstrated that erythropoietin (EPO) play a significant cytoprotective role when tissue is subjected to ischemic and hypoxic injury. This research is designed to investgate the effect of recombinant human EPO (rhEPO) on the size of myocardial infarction in the left ventricle and hemodynamic status in rats 24 hours after AMI.Methods: (1)24 male SD rats were recruited and divided into 3 groups...
