| About more than 40% of the cases that suffering with breast disorders are mammary gland hyperplasia(MGH). Epidemiologic data indicates that breast carcinoma occur tightly with mammary dysplasia. It is a slow-paced course that normal mammary epithelium be transformed to tumorous epithelium. Many factors can exert favorable effects on immune system and endocrine system, even reverse the pathological changes in this course, such as improving environment, controlling behavior, leading mentality and drug treatment. It may be useful to decrease the probability of breast cancer.The traditional Chinese medicine ,on the base of bianzhenglunzhi, has obvious general advantage in treating MGH. The paper begins with abundance medical literature of TCM and modern medicine, discussing therapeutical tenor of traditional Chinese medicine on MGH. Guizhifuling capsule was choosed to treating MGH on the foundation of perennial experience of professor XU Zhi-yin and theory of "long diseases numerously relate to silting blood", discusses the significance of Guizhifuling capsule's composes, and establishes academic base on the capsule to treating MGH.Than following with laboratorial study on MGH which was be treated with Guizhifuling capsule. First, antalgic test of Guizhifuling capsule will be done to counteract ache which is response of heat or chemical. Second, 70 S.D. female rats were randomly divided into 7 groups: the normal control, the model control, the treatment of tamoxifen group, the treatment of Rupixiao group, the treatment of low, middle and high Guizhifuling capsule group. The latter 6 groups were induced by injecting rats with estradiol benzoatis and progesterone. The heights of teats, levels of serum reproductive hormones(estradiol, progesterone, prolactin) were measured and the changes of histological structure of the mammary gland were examined. The results indicates that Guizhifuling capsule can significantly lower the levels of serum estradiol and progesterone, reduce the heights of 2nd pairs of teats, lighten the hyperplasia of mammary gland in rats.At the same time, the curative effect of Guizhifuling capsule was observed on treating MGH in clinic. 60 females of MGH were treated with Guizhifuling capsule add tamoxifen, 30 females of MGH were treated with Rupixiao add tamoxifen. The results indicates that Guizhifuling capsule add tamoxifen can eliminate the clinical symptoms and decrease the signs of MGH.The guide of using Guizhifuling capsule in treating MGH was established by analysis of laboratorial study and clinical observation. Minimum drug can exert maximal effects which is based on the symptoms and signs of MGH by adjusting the dose. |
