Studies On Chemical Constituents Of Whole Leaf Of Senecio

S.cannabifolium Less. Var. integrifolius (Koidz.) Kitam.. whose another name is "Dan Ye Fan Hun Cao", is whole grass of a kind of plant belonging to Compositae Senecio. distributes mainly in the North east and Hebei Province of China. Korea,Japan and fa east of pre-Soviet Union. It is function shows the effects on dispelling ecchymoma,anastalsis and analgesic. As one kind of folk medicine, it's usually used to treat the diseases,such as virus influenza and many kinds of inflame-matories.Now,the two kinds of the plant are same used as medicine. The study on Chemical composition of S.cannabifolium Less. Var. integrifolius (Koidz.) Kitam has no report.Three compounds were isolated and puified by various chromatographic methods,such as silica gel column chromatography, preparative layer chromatography(PTLC) and so on, According to the physiochemical properties and the comparision with the literature data,the structure of three compounds were identified. They were elucidated as following: 1, 4-benzenediol( I ),salicylic acid( II ),p-hydroxy benzoic acid(III).All of the compounds are isolated from the plant for the first time.On the other hand ,we analysed the Naphtha of Fructus Leonuri and the Fatty acid by GC-MS.
