Because SCI can lead to a very high disablement rate-completely or partly function loss of aesthesis, It is a worldwide subject for therapy of spinal cord injury (SCI), Although there have been taken amazing outcome on gene therapy of SCI in experiment study, for the complex effect factor and injury mechanism, now it is still a hot and difficult problem for scientists of every country that how to protect the injured cord effectively and promote its recovery.Using the method of Allen's WD to make the animal model of acute spinal cord injured of rats, 40 healthy adult SD rats were randomly divided into five groups, control group, A experimental group (received vap 15mg),B experimental group (received vap 10mg),C experimental group (received vap 5mg) and sham group.The models produced by modified Allen' s impact device. With the Tarlov score to observe the value of the spinal nerve function, gross observation, The change of pathological in injured spinal cord was observed with with optic microscope. The expression levels of Nogo protein in rats spinal cord were detected, analysis VAP group compared with its own control group . Success established the experiment model of acute spinal cordof implanted VAP in rat in order producing a tissue-engineered spinal cord with VAP to repair SCI to provide normal animal experiment model. Behavior rehab of experimental group of implanted VAP was well than that of no implanted VAP. VAP can promote the motor function recovery after spinal cord injury, and has protection effect on the spinal cord injury of rats. |
