It is always a difficulty problem to orthopedist of spine fracture and spinal cord injury. With the rapid development of moderu means of communication and construction of industry and agriculture, the. incidence of spine fracture and spinal cord injury is tend to improve, it is a effective surgical operation, including fixation with AF screw, decompression from back and bone transplanted , extensive used in clinical to treat spine fracture and spinal cord injury. Objective: We evaluate the effects of the operation of posterior-discompression, inner-fixation and intertransversal fusion on spine fracture and spinal cord injury, For explore the principles of the operation and important techniques, To preliminary expound the etiology and pathology and treatment machnism of the operation on spine fracture and spinal cord injury. Methods: We analyses the materials of 28 patients of following-up. evaluating two index-systems of their reduction and symptoms and signs. The evaluate of standard of replacing is measuring Cobb's angle and vertebra's height. We analyses the x-ray of 28 patients before and after operation, measuring the variety of Cobb's angle, height of vertebra's front and back and analyzing those data With statistics. The effect of nervous recovering is the system of Frankel and analyzing those data with statistics. Results: The outcome of following-up of 28 patients showed that all two index-systems had a higher excellent or good rate. Cobb's angle average corrected from before operation's 24.7°(10°~47°) to after operation's 2.6°(0°~8°). The height of vertebra's front and back recovered from before operation's 43 % (22%~69%) and 68%(33%~69%) to after operation's 93%(87%~100%) and 96% (93%~100%). There is remarkably statistical difference in the ternate data (P<0.01). The effect of nervous recovering is the system of Frankel. The period of reexamine is range from 6 to 24 months (the average is 11.Smonths). The incomplete paraplegia in 24 sufferer recovered is range from 1 to 3 level. The C and D recovered completely, the figure, whose myotome of legs reached V level, is 22 among the C and D, the recovering of urine function is not good enough about 4. the figure, whose recovering level is range from 1 to 2, is 2 in all 4 completely paraplegia. Conclusion: The operation of posterior discompression, inner-fixation and intertransversal fusion is a satisfied method.
