The Spleen Yishenhuoxue Diarrhea Turbidity Treatment Clinical Observation Of Chronic Renal Failure

Objectives:To observe the clinical result of Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang in patients with chronic renal failure(CRF)and provide clinical proof for the integrated therapy of TOM and Western Medicine on CRF.Materials and Methods:According to the standard in Chinese journal of internal medicine and national symposium of TCM,80 patients with CRF were divided into two groups,the treatment group(40 cases)and the control group(40cases)at random.Both groups were treated by basic western medicine treatmet.Patients of control group took took medicinal charoal orally.In the treatment if the patient presents abdominal distension, constipation,take soda tablets Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei to deal with to the ill.Patients of treatment group took the Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang, including astragalus membranaceus(黄芪),radix pseudostellariae(太子参), rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae(白术),radix et rhizoma rhei(大黄), radix rehmanniae glutinosae.(熟地),epimedium grandiflorum Morr.(仙灵脾),radix salviae miltiorrhizae(丹参),ligusticum chuanxiong hort.(川芎),and etc.Both treatment period were six months.Observe the change of symptom integral levels,Blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine (Scr),clearance of endogenous creatinine(Ccr),serum uric acid(UA),plasma(serum)CO2-combining power(TCO2),Hemoglobin(HB)in before and after therapy.Results:(1)With comprehensive clinical analysis,the efficiency(87.5%)of patients in the therapy group was significantly better than that(62.5%)in the control group(P＜0.05)).The therapeutic efficacy of treatment group on Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang is much better than that of control group.(2)In term of clinic symptoms integral,the integrals in two groups were improved after treatment,By tested,the difference had statistical significance in contrast of before treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment the difference in two groups was obvious(P＜0.05),the clinic symptoms integral of treatment group improved better than that of the control group.(3)Before treatment,there were no difference of Blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr),clearance of endogenous creatinine(Ccr),serum uric acid(UA),plasma(serum)CO2-combining power (TCO2)between control group and treatment group(P＞0.05).After treatment, Scr,BUN of treatment group decreased evidently compared before treatment((P＜0.05),while Ccr increased(p＜0.01).After treatment,BUN,UA of control group decreased evidently compared before treatment((P＜0.05). Scr of comparison group decreased compared before treatment,but there was no significant difference between them(p＞0.05).By tested,The difference of Scr in two groups was also obvious after treatment(P＜0.05).It could be concluded that Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang improve BUN,Scr and Ccr better than medicinal charoal.(4)In term of HB,there were no difference of between the two groups compared before treatment((P＞0.05).After treatment,there were no difference between them(p＞0.05);(5)There were no evident side effects of both control group and treatment group.The control group had 5 examples to appear the abdominal distension, appetite drop,4 cases appearing constipation,after adding and using soda tablets of Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei,symptom is relieved.4 patients caught cold during the treatment period.There were 4 patients suffering from diarrhea in the treatment group.After decrease of the dosage of radix et rhizome rhei,all the symptoms relieved.None caught cold during the treatment period.Conclusion:(1)The therapeutic effect of treatment group was much better than that of the control group.(2)Through the function of supplement and boost the spleen and kidney,and discharge turbidity and dispel stasis,Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang can improve renal function and lighten clinical symptom and delay the development of CRF with spleen-kidney qi(yang)vacuity.(3)Jianpiyishenhuoxuexiezhuo Fang has fewer side effects and better security,it should be promoted.
