| ObjectiveAlzheimer's disease(Alzheimer's disease,or AD),also known as senile dementia, occurred in early old age or old age,for dementia,and cognitive impairment was the main symptom,but with the spirit of abnormal nerve degenerative diseases.Clinical characteristics of its performance for the serious decline in learning and memory, judgement and analysis recession,changes in mood and behavior disorders,or even awareness of fuzzy.The main pathological changes is senile plaques(senile plaque,SP), the nerve fiber tangles(neurofibrilary tangle,NFT)and neuronal degeneration,an Senile Dementia areas.Name of Chinese medicine did not have AD,according to their clinical performance falls into the "dementia","forgetful" and "suspect","stay disease," and "Melancholia" and other disease areas.The incidence of AD with age and the growth of the growth in the population over 65 years of age,the incidence of AD rate of 2%-4%, 85 years of age or older,the prevalence rate of more than 30%.With the extension of human life and the ageing of the world's population,AD has become a cancer,heart disease,stroke,caused the death of the elderly fourth largest disease in the elderly occupies an important position in the spectrum,the study and exploration of AD effective treatment has become an urgent need to address the world's medical problems.Modern medicine has yet to make clear the cause of AD explained that at present,that it is composed of more than cause a syndrome.AD drug therapy at home and abroad in the most clinical trials,and the long-term use of such Western medicine easily cause serious side effects,such as liver and kidney damage organs.Therefore,from medicine to explore effective ways has become the main trend of domestic research.Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in as an important component of reports in recent years of clinical and experimental studies have indicated that acupuncture is certainly the effect of AD.The rat model of AD,AD model for research,learning and memory in rats and the ability of neural stem cells in the hippocampus nest protein(Nestin)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)expression in,and explore the role of acupuncture treatment AD the mechanism of acupuncture for the prevention and treatment of AD clinical applications and provide experimental evidence for further study.MethodsHealthy SD rats 40,half male and half female,were randomly divided into normal group,sham-operated group,model group,electro-acupuncture group.Using Bilateral microinjection of Meynert condensed matter nuclear basement A beta 1-40 establishing AD model.Immunohistochemistry was observed in rat hippocampus Nestin AD model and the expression of bFGF by Morris water maze the rat model of AD learning and memory.Results1.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,was significantly shorter than the incubation period escape,rats swimming in the original platform quadrant of the time swimming time were significantly higher percentage,the original platform location through the number increased significantly(P＜0.01).2.Electroacupuncture rat hippocampal of the largest number of Nestin-positive cells, compared with the model group,the difference was significant(P＜0.01).3.Each group rat hippocampal bFGF positive neurons in the number of the strongest expression of electro-acupuncture group,compared with the model group with significant differences(P＜0.01).Conclusion1.Electroacupuncture can improve learning and memory in AD rats;2.Electroacupuncture can enhance AD model of neural stem cells in rat hippocampus Nestin expression,AD induced rat hippocampal neurons within the cell proliferation, electro-acupuncture may be involved in AD rat neural defect repair;3.Electroacupuncture enhances rat hippocampal of bFGF expression of immune activity,and promote AD rat hippocampal neurons within the cell proliferation, electro-acupuncture may be enhanced by the endogenous expression of bFGF nerve to achieve the protective effect. |
