| Objective: To explore the effects of "man fei fang" on the "tan ren yu zu" syndrome of COPD during acute aggravating stage and the influnce on the pulmonary function, the level of NO and ET-1.Methods: select 60 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease according with diagnostic criteria in western medicine and diagnostic criteria of "Tan Re Yu Zu" syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine differentiation of symptoms and signs, and then these patients were divided into control group which were treated with western medicine merely and experimental group which conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine randomly. Patients were selected into our study were all treated with conventional therapy , such as recumbent, aspiration of oxygen,efficacious antibiotics,improving ventilation,antitussive and apophlegmatisan et al, and "man fei fang" were used in the experimental group additionally. If necessary, patients with severe conditions were treated with glucocorticoid and non-trauma mechanical ventilation. Both control group and experimental group were treated 10 days and then the variation of tussis,expectoration,gasping,rales in lung,body temperature,respiration, heart rate,coated tongue, pulse tracings,pulmonary function and levels of NO and ET-1 in serum were studied in pre-trerapy and post-therapy.Results: the obvious control rate, major clinical symptom and partial sign in lung and pulmonary function in experimental group have a good advantage over control group in pre-therapy and post-therapy (P<0. 05), so do as the levels of NO and ET-1 in serum.Conclusion: aggregate analysis of our studing, we presume initially that there are good curative effect used "man fei fang" on the stage of acute exacerbation of COPD and the machanism about the therapic effect of "man fei fang " on COPD is relieveing the Inflammatory reaction of air way and inhibting the proliferation of tracheal smooth muscle. |
