Seed of Peppertree Pricklyash,the seeds of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim.or Zanthoxylum schinifolium Sieb.et Zucc.,belongs to Rutaceae.with the efficacy of promoting water and detumescence.It is used to treat edema and abdominal distension.This paper can be divided into six parts.1.The review of the studies of Zanthoxylum,the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.and the methods to research angiogenesis.2.This study is to research the effective extraction from the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.on chick chorioallantoic membrane(CAM) angiogenesis.The results:There was no significant difference between the extraction with the solvent of Petroleum ether and blank control,and the extraction with 1%hydrochloric acid solution,5%sodium carbonate solution,the solvent of 95%alcohol were not significant compared with blank control. However,the average of small vessels of four group were all less than blank control.The extraction from the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.can inhibit CAM angiogenesis.3.The chemical components of the extraction with Petroleum ether from the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.were studied with GC-MS in this paper.The results:The major components were n-Hexadecenoic acid(20.31%) and 9-Octadecenoic acid(46.73%).4.The studies on the chemical constituents of the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.before were less.Thirteen compounds have been isolated from the seeds of Zanthoxylom bungeanum Maxim.by column chromatography on silica gel and recrystallization methods etc in this study.According to their physico-chemical properities and spectroscopic analysis,nine compounds have been identified as Stearic acid(1),Glyceryl monostearate(2),Glycol stearate(3), Isoimperatorin(4),β-sitosterol(5),Glyceryl monooleate(6),Daucosterol(7), Quercetin(8),4-oxo-Nonanoic acid(9).Compounds 2,3,6,9 were reported from the genus for the first time.5.Glyceryl monostearate,Glyceryl monooleate and 1-Monolinolein were synthesized in this study.These operations were simple.It can be used in middle-scale experiment.6.This study is to approach the effect of Glyceryl monostearate(No.1), Glyceryl monooleate(No.2) and 1-Monolinolein(No.3) on chick chorioallantoic membrane(CAM) angiogenesis.This results:There was no significant differencebetween No.1 and blank control,but there was significant difference between No.2 and blank control and it is the same between No.3 and blank control;Compared with blank control,the average of small vessels of No.1,No.2 or No.3 was all less than blank control and the average of small vessels of No.2 or No.3 was less than that of No.1;The effect of monoglyceride with double bond was better than that without double bond;There was no significant difference between monoglyceride with one double bond and monoglyceride with two double bond on the effect of inhibitting CAM angiogenesis.
