Qi, Dried Milk Did Capsule Of Apoe-/ - Mice Atherosclerotic Lipid And Anti-inflammatory Effects

Objective:To observe the lipid reduction and Anti-inflammatory effect of Qi Jie Ru Mo capsule(Astragalus Polysaccharide,Dragon's blood flavo-noids,Frankincense oil and Myrrh oil) on atherosclerosis(AS) of apolipoproteinE-knock-out(ApoE-/-) Mice. Methods:67 Eight weeks old ApoE-/- mice were divided into fivegroups randomly:Mo del group,Atorvastatin calcium highdose group,Atorvastatin calcium low dose group,Chi nese herbs extract high dose group and Chinese herbs extract low dose group.Meanwh ile,take 13 healthy mice(C57BL/6 mice) with the same age and same genetic backgr ound to be the Normal group.After 30 days continuous intragastricadministration,detecte d weight variable quantity and blood lipids.Meanwhile,the aortas and hearts tissue wer e taken.for HE and immunohistochemistry stain in order to makemorphological researc h.Measure the correction area of plaque,lipid core in the plaque and the expresssion of MMP-9 and TNF-αin aortal intima and plaque.Results:①The weight variable quan tity of Atorvastatin calcium high dose group and Chinese herbs extract low dose gro up had significant changes.②Significant decreases of TC,TD and LDL of ApoE-/- mic e's serum were happened in Atorvastatin calcium groups and Chi-nese herbs extract gr oups.③Result of pathomorphology suggested that the pathological changes of ApoE-/-mice's aortas and coronary arteries in Qi Jie Ru Mo capsule groups and Atorvastatin calcium high dose group were obviously improved than model group,and the effect of high dose groups were better.④The plaque areas and lipid core areas of Chinese herbs extract groups and Atorvast-atin calcium high dose group were obviously smaller than that of model group.⑤Slice of mmunohistochemistry stain shows that compared with model group,the expression of MMP-9 and TNF-αin drug groups had reduced by different degree,and the effects of Chinese herbs extract groups and Atorvastatin calcium high dose group were signif-icant.Conclusion:This Chinese herbs extracts can reduce the lipid of AS mice,relievethe lesions of ApoE-/- mice' AS and restrain the expression of MMP-9 and TNF-αto stabilize the aortic lipid plaque.
