In this study,Boer goat was choosen as the experimental animals. The way of carbon tetrachloride-induced chronic liver injury model was used to study the effect of the trace element compound "sheng ming yuan" to the production trait,hematology indicators and blood biochemical indicators, and to represent its effect on the restoration and protection of the liver.ExperimentⅠselected 9 healthy male Boer goats, which weight 12kg±0.1kg for the 3-month-old. They were randomly equilibrate divided into 3 groups(groupⅠgroupⅡand groupⅢ). On the first day, the 3 groups got hypodermic with the colza oil dosage form of 50% CCl4, in accordance with the dose of 0.4 ml/kg body weight, 1.0 ml/kg body weight, 1.6 ml/kg body weight. Survey the liver function and the enzyme activity on the day before the experiment(recorded as -1d, without injecting drugs) and after the injection 3d, 6d, 9d. The result show that injection with the dose of 1.0 ml/kg body weight of the colza oil dosage form of 50% CCl4 can cause mild liver injury. Repeated injuection of dose on the 6d juring the repair can establish the modle of chronic liver injury.ExperimentⅡselected 18 healthy male Boer goats, which weight 12kg±0.1kg for the 3-month-old. They were randomly equilibrate divided into 3 groups(control group, model group and protection group). Control group got hypodermic with colza oil by 1.0ml/kg body weight. The model group and the protection group got hypodermic with the colza oil dosage form of 50% CCl4 by 1.0ml/kg body weight. The colza oil and the colza oil dosage form of 50% CCl4 were given every 5 days, injecting a total of 4 times, and on the 24d without injection(observed for 6 days). The protection group got intramuscular with 12ml of the trace element compound "sheng ming yuan" each Boer goat when the first time to given the colza oil dosage form of 50% CCl4. Surveying the Boer goats' weight, blood, liver function and anti-oxidation function indicators on the day before the experiment and after the injection of 6d, 12d, 18d, 24d, 30d respectively.The result showed that: 1. The Boer goats in protection group had the better sprit and appetite, the weigh maintained at a stable level after the 6d of the experiment, upswing happened after the 30d, compared with the model group, there were significant difference on the 24d and 30d(p<0.05). 2. The Boer goats in protection group's WBC increase obviously on the 6d, and decrease after the 12d, and lower than the model group from the 18d(p<0.05), compared with the control group there was no significant diference(p>0.05). 3. The protection group's ALB in serum decrease and the GLO in serum increase after the injection of CCl4, had a significant diference with the model group(p<0.05) while no significant diference with the control group(p>0.05). The A/G values between the protection group and the model group had a quite significant difference(p<0.01). The vitality of ALT, AST in the protection group's Boer goats' serum were lower than the model group, and had d significant difference(p<0.05 or p<0.01). The vitality of AKP, GGT in the protection group's Boer goats' serum were lower than the model group since the 12d. The GGT activity of the protection group had a significant difference with the control group on the 18d and 24d(p<0.05), and also was significantly different with the model group(p<0.05). 4. The vitality of SOD in Boer goat's serum of the protection group was higher than the model group from the beginning of the experiment, and significantly higher than the model group from the 14d(p<0.05), the content of MDA decreased obviously on the 6d, and got a marked decrease from the 14d, and lower than the model group, and had a significant difference with the model group on the 24d and 30d(p<0.05).Therefore, the compound of trace elements "sheng ming yuan" can effectively reduce the body's inflammatory response caused by CCl4, can enhance the antioxidation ability of the body to reduce the lipid peroxidation in vivo, can obviously protect the liver cell and improve the synthesis of plasma protein. The results show that the compound of trace elements "sheng ming yuan" has a obvious protective effect on CCl4-induced liver injury.
