Inmates With Antisocial Personality Disorder, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Factors

Objective:Antisocial personality disorder(ASPD) is also known "absurdity personality disorder","inexorably personality disorder" and psychopathic personality, is one of numerous personality disorders.The most obvious feature of antisocial personality disorder is that the patient often get out of line.So ASPD is not simply harm the physical and mental health of the patient and well-being,but also threat their families and community.Therefore,it is essential to study ASPD to promote social stability and harmonious society.This study aims to enrich the epidemiological survey data of ASPD.Then, we study ASPD with emotional research method to explore the feature of emotional experience and emotion regulation of ASPD.At last,the study try exploring effective ASPD treatment from emotional point.Methods:1Screening:We find subjects from 634 offender who came form 3 labor camp belong to Harbin Bureau of Justice with Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire,(PDQ4 +),a total of 219 people.2 Structured interviews:We make the second screening through interiviewing to the subjectors from the initial screening,in the final we find 110 ASPD-positive individuals,and we reorganized them into ASPD group;then,we received random sample of 110 subjects from the ASPD-negative individuals of the first screening,and we make the second screening using SCID-â…¡.At last,we diagnosed 105 non-ASPD subjects,then we reorganized then into the control group.3 Investigation of cognitive emotion regulation:We distributed Chinese version of cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire(CERQ-C) to ASPD group and control group, to explore the individual's emotional regulation characteristics of ASPD.4 experimentation:The study choosed 30 negative,neutral,positive pictures,total of 90 pictures,then,we explored the indiviauals'emotional experience characteristics of ASPD using the tool.Results:1 The study find the detection rate of ASPD is 45.8% using PDQ4+,which is higher than the detection rate of crimal and college student in other provinces.At the same time,the ASPD detection rate in male offenders is higher than female offenders.2 Overall, inmates often use acceping,re-focus program,actively re-evaluation and self-blame during cognitive emotion regulation.The first three strategies is adapting the condition actively,but the selt-blame strategy is adapting the condition negatively.3 In the disaster and self blame dimension,the scores of ASPD group is significantly higher than control group. Compared with the control group,ASPD group use more negative regulation strategy.4 In ASPD group,female scored significantly higher in self-blame than males;and males scored significantly higher in disaster than females.5 In the case of non-mood induction,the error number of reaction to positive pictures and neutral pictures in ASPD group is significantly higher than control group;the reaction time to emotional pictures in ASPD group is less than control group.6 In the case of positive-mood induction,the error number of reaction to positive pictures in ASPD group is significantly higher control group;but in the case of negaive-mood induction,the reaction error number to positive pictures in ASPD group is no significant difference; in the case of negaive-mood induction, the error number of reaction to neutral pictures in ASPD group is significantly higher control group7 In different mood induction conditions,the reaction time still has the same characteristics with the second study,that is the reaction time of ASPD group is significantly less than the control group.Conclusions:1 Overall,there is no significantly difference in cognitive emotion regulation between ASPD group and control group.But compared with the control group, ASPD individuals more choosed disaster and blame strategy. So compared to other people, ASPD have more impulsive and angry emotion, also perform more acts of violence or destructive.2 Famle ASPD individuals scored higher on self-blame factor;male ASPD individuals scored higher on blame others factors. Hence, compared to women,man have more aggressive behavior.3 In the case of non-mood induction, ASPD individuals will make the negative response to neutral and positive pictures. 4 In the case of negative-mood induction, ASPD individuals will experience more of the combined effects of negative emotion. ASPD individuals have relatively weaker emotional control ability.5 After inducing negative mood,the reaction error number increased no matter ASPD group or control group.
