Li Zhong,a poet whose works were preserved and spread more than his contemporary, was renowned for his poetry Bi Yun Collection.Li Zhong is one of representatives advocating that poetry was medium for expressing personal emotion, the majority of whose works displayed the poet's abundant emotional world. Besides being nostalgic and sentimental, he devoted himself to writing poetry, cherished friendship, stuck to family as well as to the court, and cared for common people. Li yearned for official carrier and struggled for this aim; meanwhile positively inspired his friends. The cruelty of reality always made him suffer frustrations, which led to his seclusion for comfort. He hesitated between seeking official carrier and choosing seclusion on account of his ambition and botheration for despairing reality. The utilization of outline drawing technique as well as pursuit of precise and concrete practical tendency in Li's poetry can reveal the poet's subtle emotion and feelings. On the one hand, Li, in his poetry, utilized natural images like moon and rain to display the idle natural artistic feature; On the other hand, through the elegant images such as book and sword, the poet showed hope for his aspiration as well as his end of resources about reality and resistance. In his poetry, Li expressed his disappointment with reality as well as clear optimism; lament for his drift as well as leisure for drinking and writing poetry with friends and his helpless self-mockery as well as unperturbed poise. His poetry described individual emotions and exquisite emotion with the field of vision introversion.
