The cultivation of English-writing level is nowadays the main task for English-andself-efficacy .Teaching. It is also an important quality standard of English teaching TheMetacongnition and self-efficacy are the popular points of psychological research. Buton research on the metacognition for English-writing teaching and learning has done. Sowe'll try The study on senior in students' Metacognition Training in English-writingContrast Experimental method is adopted to carry out some metacognitive trainingin English-writing and self-efficacy. Students of 2 Senior III Classes are randomlyarranged to study. One dais made up of 68 is referred it as experimental; The other madeup of 71 is referred as contrast.The results shone that the mctacognitive training has notable effect on developingthe students' sense of English-writing self-efficacy, especially with the best effect on thestudents who have medium sense of self-efficacy. They also indicate that there is acertain correlation between the sense of self-efficacy and the English-writingachievemert, however, the remarkable development of the students' sense of self-efficacy doesn't necessarily result in the remarkable improvement of their achievements. Meanwhile, the achievements of the students' English-writing also have someeffect on the students' sense of self-efficacy. Somehow, the two are dependent andinteractive on each other.
