Wang yangming, an ancient Chinese ethic scholar, found out 'goodness' through the traditional culture and hard life, conduded that 'goodness' was the sacred, enlightening and glorious virtue which could distinguish morally right and wrong. However, in spite of its common possession, goodness, from natural state to awareness, must be cultivated with efforts. For this reason, Wang Yangming suggested the realization of goodness be attributed to goodness practice as well as goodness cultivation. Regarding how to realize goodness, Wang Yangming set up ethic principles and practical approaches for being a noble man which stated, " Awareness and practice combined into one. Preoccupied with cultivation. Sflf-cultivation contributing to self-awareness." in order to reach an ideal society in which all human beings should be noble.Although aiming to save Ming Dynasty from crisis in order to maintain the fuedal regime. Wang's ethic theory transcends time and space, posing great impact on modern times and far beyond, for its implication can be applied to social practice and ethics of various ages.
