Many Buddhist images have been unearthed in Qingzhou since 1949. In the paper we'll study the emergence, transmission and modeling of the images according to the cultural character during Weijin & Northern-southern dynasty. Moreover, integrating with the literature referred to the images, we'll explore the relations between creed and craftsman execution, as well as between religious statement and demos acceptance. Therefore, we'll research the art style of the Buddhist images unearthed in this area.Qingzhou Buddhist images synchronized with the doctrinal transmission in its evolution. While Buddhists religiously attached themselves to selecting classic models, merging with their own cultural conception and taste, they created a great many images to place their hope on, to substitute the hopelessness of real life by psychic completion. Hence they initiated new ethos as they appropriately combined religion with art.
