I firstly classified and research the Chinese characters in heart radical in shuowenjiezi by sense,then traced to the source to the characters in heart radical in Zhanguo Period,inscriptions on bronze and oracle-bone scriptures. I illuminated some principles of Xushen,who composed shuowenjiezi. The core of this research is about the order of arranging the characters in heart radical,etc. There are some radicals comprising a lot of commendatory characters and derogatory characters in shuowenjiezi,such as heart radical. The order of characters in these radical is radical-character,the neutral characters,then commendatory characters,and derogatory characters. This research also contained the analysis of why the heart radical character in the Zhanguo Period was prosperous. I thoroughly contrasted the characters in heart radical in shuowenjiezi with in oracle-bone scriptures,inscriptions on bronze and in Zhanguo Period,so explained some changing process of thought and mind of the ancients.
