Jin Yong's Novels Art

This paper attempts to deal with the merit and defect of Jinyong 's novels from the aspect of art . The preface reviews present conditions of stady of Jinyong's novels and points the insufficients of these papers .The main text is divided into four chapters The first chapter points the peculiarity of plot and structure of Jinyong's novels is grand and circuitous by analyzing the use of modes in these novels having the trait of creativity ,the structure of being like architectural complex ,with humanity's demonstration pushing forward advancement of plot and loopholes and flaws The second chapter .portrayal of characters to develop a new style of one's own, expounds some unique methods Jinyong uses in characters'portrayal:demonstrating human nature by development of plot ,the use of method of setting off in contrast .laying stress on function of doom in showing humanity and other methods in portrayal of characters The third chapter .background of time and space of the true mingled with the false .inspects Jinyong's special treatment to swordsmen's world of life ,from the aspects of wicked rivers and lakes .historical clounds and mist and individual's background The forth chapter inquires into language art of Jinyong's novels .affirms its value on sublime of mood and atmosphere .tableau sense, humour sense and individualism of language The finale reflects on the cause of Jinyong's stopping .and attempts to provide a basic point of thinking for successors .
