Each language has it's own feature and grammar which highlights it's uniqueness. So does the language Uyghur. It's rich in morphological process. Studying Uyghur language is a process of studying its affixes. But about the Old Uyghur morphology, so far there is no systematic research has been done yet, thus we will face some problems in studying the contemporary Uyghur grammar. The importance of morphology in grammar makes me realize the necessity of studying old Uyghur morphology.Verbs are the most important words that indicate the morphology process in old and contemporary Uyghur. Through initial morphologic process, verbs can indicate the grammatical category of their positive-negative forms, mood, tense, singular or plural forms etc. Verbs and nouns are the main parts of Uyghur vocabulary. Well understanding verbs' all kinds of grammatical category has both theoretical meaning and practical value in studying Uyghur language."Maitrisimit" is one of the elegant manuscripts. Scholars from all over the world have been doing various researches on it but so far there is no such a research, which is about the systematic grammatical features of"Maitrisimit". Its language may differ from any other languages that used in other manuscripts at the same time and as being a literature, its language may differ from oral languages used in the same time. Studying its linguistic feature not only has an important meaning in studying Old Uyghur but also is a great help in comparing it with other manuscripts.Affix is a widely used part in Uyghur grammar. Formatting rules mainly use suffix. External morphology is used in this manuscript, for example: the aspectual category of verbs is given by using external morphology, but it's not the mainstream. So I didn't focus on this part in my dissertation. This dissertation belongs to synchronic study. Synchronic study is very important since historical study is based on several synchronic studies. Before doing the conclusion and statistics to the first part, writer analysed the verbal structure in Hami version "Maitrisimit".
