On The Modern Chinese Nouns And Phrases Naming Functional Differences

For a long period of time , because of some reasons , people had always taken the verb as the point in the grammatical study of contemporary Chinese , and hadn't been concerned with the noun enough . Usually the noun and the "attribute - and -noun" phrase were regarded as a whole , not focused on their differences enough. From the past a few years , scholars have gradually realized the importance of studying the noun, which also has aroused the research for the differences between the noun and the "attribute - and - noun" phrase . Some even have described and explained a part of phenomena.The facts mentioned above are just the cause and the base that we write this paper. We think between the noun and the "attribute - and - noun " phrase, there are not only the same but also the differences . Based on the research result of others',this paper studies the differences from three dimensions-----syntax , semantics andprgmatics . At the same time , we also try to absorb and make use of some new theories.such as the recognition theory . The hope is that our discussion could be beneficial to extanding the knowledge of the relation between the noun and the "attribute - and - noun " phrse, and also could be helpful to the actual application .
