On The Intellectuals Seeking The Will Of Fang Fang's Novels

In the contemporary China literary arena, Fang Fang always has her remarkable individuality. She rejects to get it over and done within the so-called mainstream of literary arena. From the self-clear life experience, she always persists intellectual's writing standpoint;insists to pursue the literature creation spirit orientation and the esthetic dimension by the bardian word. Fangfang's novel creation manifests bright and extremely bardian intellectual's will to truth. And because Fangfang's literature creation ideas happen to hold the same view with existential philosophy in many aspects, therefore, this paper will refer to and model some theoretical ideas of existential philosophy, elaborate the expression and the characteristic of the will to truth in Fangfang's novel from four aspects.The first part emphatically elaborates the special characteristic of truth pursuers, which is faithful to personal life experiences. This part performs Fangfang's creation orientations in around 20 years by the lasted way;stands out Fangfang's creation posture, which drifts away to the mainstream words in literary arena;highlights her creation faith based on the humanism, which persists to the exploration of life existence truth. It indicates its individual text not only expresses the will of single life, but also has the spiritual wish to arouse the people's consciousness towards the real situation and conscience in the deep mind.The second part elaborates her asking and exploration regarding the irrational world. This part demonstrates the death consciousness, fatalism idea and incredible living feeling existing in its text connotation. It points out in Fangfang's death consciousness: the death is the opposite side of the life existence, can bring more intense life feeling to people, while its essence of fatalism idea is related with tragedy. In her work, incredible world shows us the nihility of the historical existence. Fang Fang explores and expresses the irrational world for the preservation of human "vivid" (Nan Fan says). It causes its text to undertake the life existence significance much better, and to become "the homeland which promotes the idea of the life art." (Herbet Marcuse says).The third part specifically elaborates the Enlightenment will and critique spirit in the Fangfang's novel creation. It points out: Fangfang's critique consciousness ceases the giant illusion of the undertakers';respects individual will and the choice freedom of life;enlightens the reader to ponder the life by means of "communicate, consultate, socialize, dialogue" (Chen Chao says);makes the reader to keep enough vigilance upon the gloomy living and flaw condition. The pity mood in its critique consciousness strengthens the human nature connotation behind the text, enriches the significance of life existence, and becomes the source which plays the trigger to the reader's initial conscience.The fourth part elaborates Fang Fang takes root into the Confucianist traditional spirit, wishes and pursues to conduct "this-sidedness" ideally, thus expresses her ultimate concern regards to the life existence. The text related with conduction ofideal consistently maintains the basic centripetal force related with the thought trend and the measure of value. The text also provides the readers present survival scene by means of equal dialogue and consultation. It lets the reader naturally comprehend, accept, enrich and consummate the true meaning of its conduction of ideal —humanism, understand the truth of life thoroughly, perfect humanity's whole existence—during reading process of "fill blank, connect vacancy, renew sight" (Wolfgang Iser says)The conclusion gives an overall appraisal on the intellectual's will to truth in Fangfang's literature creation;points out that her free creation attitude is neither arrogant nor servile, keeps personal views, and is humanities intellectual's wise choice within the marketed society and the times filled with desires. Simultaneously, it points out that Fang Fang does not give "the conclusion" like a person with dogmatism, but creates a process using the text creation to find out real truth of life and existence. And the question about life and existence will keep open facing to the future forever, therefore, the will to truth is the WILL with no ending and "on the road" forever.
