Sergei Sergeievitch Prokofiev, 1891 ~ 1953, who is called a classicist of modern music is a famous composer, pianist and impresario of the 20th century. On one hand, he, basing on the modern times, succeeded to but at the same time developed the later romantic line, the impressionistic color and the expressionistic technology; on the other hand, he still upheld the harmonic design and its function logic. His harmonic shows his personal characteristic as well as is identical with the common order of the harmonic of the 20th century. Sergei Sergeievitch Prokofiev combined the new colorful harmonic with the most traditional and common cutout technology bravely and thus developed the particular characteristic of his music. The best clew to track the development of Sergei Sergeievitch Prokofiev's harmonic is his works. He has produced his nine pieces of piano sonata in three separate periods and theses works represented his whole writing life.In order to conclude the characteristics and development of technology in his first two works and set up foundation for furtherand systemic research to Sergei Sergeievitch Prokofiev's music compositions, the author, beginning with Sergei Sergeievitch Prokofiev's first two works, analyzed the chord structure, harmonic process, melody composition, method to change the melody and the melody other than chord of his works in detail.
