Trotsky Literary Thought

The research objection of this thesis is the literature thoughts of Trotsky, which expressed in his" literature and revolution " .As the first monograph of Marxist literature theories of the former Soviet Union, it produced huge influences for the Soviets literary circles and Marxist literature theories of other socialism nations at that time, including China. And some of his rationality points also had been proved by the later literature practices. Because of the special and political body of Trotsky, the research of his literature thoughts in our country is currently, mostly and even only focused on the introduction of his main literature views, hardly mentioned it's theoretical meaning. So, it is necessary to have a completely new description for Trotsky's literature thoughts in order to get a more clearly understanding about this aspect.The first chapter of this thesis will give a simple introduction of Trotsky and his works and then it will analyze the background, which produced the main literature views of Trotsky. In these factors, not only included the demand of the objective realistic condition, but also the strict request of the literary circles condition to personal literature ability for that time.The second part is the main body of this thesis. It will show the differences and similarities between the literature thoughts of Trotsky,Lenin and literature radicals, by contrasting four aspects which are the view of proletarian culture, the attitude of treating literature" fellow travelers", the standard problem of the literature creations and the attitude of treating the cultural inheritances, and then it will analyze the theoretical and realistic foundations which his literature thoughts come into beings. At last, we will have the conclusion that Trotsky and Lenin have the consistency in literature thoughts.Chapter three mainly aim at the divergence between Trotsky and Lenin in literature. So by analyzing the reasons of their divergences, this part will gain the conclusion that their different political principles that caused the differences of their literature thoughts.The conclusion part, mainly summarize the analytical result of the preceding context, and get the conclusion that Trotsky's literature thoughts can be regarded as the concrete fulfillment of Lenin's leading thought in literary field.
