Poetic Dwelling

This paper focuses on the ontological poetics of Heidegger. The ontological poetics is an important item in the various issues of Heidegger's aesthetic thought. It relates to the major issues such as the relations between modern and traditional aesthetics, the essence of beauty and art, the modernization of aesthetic judgment. Beginning with the being, Heidegger completed his philosophical consequence process by the elucidation of specific poems, which is a very particular phenomenon in traditional philosophy and poetics. Thus the visage and meaning of Heidegger's ontological poetics shows themselves out of the ordinary. This paper reviews the content, character and sense of the Heidegger's ontological poetics by the following three parts. Firstly, the paper discusses the feasibility and inevitability of Heidegger's poetics in the exordium that expurgates the concept of poetics in history, and indicates the meanings of Heidegger's poetics and the necessity of study to the Heidegger's poetics.The first part of paper introduces the main content of Heidegger's poetics. In the first section of this part, He discussed the fountain of art works, the essence of beauty and art, the truth of being. He pointed out that the essence of beauty and art is the appearance of being truth. The second section discusses the poem. Heidegger's thought leads to the poem inevitably from asking the meaning of being. Heidegger reached the essence of poem through explaining the poems of Holderlin. Poet shows the truth of being, and prescribes the new times by using the substaintial language of poem. The third section is the language concept of Heidegger. He animadverted on the popular idea of language that is anthropocentric, and gave his own thought of ontological language concept. He considered that poem is original language delivering says of Tao to everybody.The second part of the paper concludes some characters of Heidegger's poetics, such as the root of ontological philosophy, the methods of phenomenology and hermeneutic, the style of poetry and trend of non-system, mythological color.
