Yuefu poetry was always called Yuefu, which was also called Geshi in Han Dynasty. These poems were collected and sung by the Yuefu Government at first. Since Weijin Dynasty, some music of the poems disappeared and a lot of these poems can not be dubbed in background music any more, but in the art some poets began to write some works to imitate such words of songs. These modeled works were different from the texts of the words of songs. In the qualitative analysis of the poems, they were always considered as "simulating lyric-poems". In Tang Dynasty, this conception became mature and stable.Based on this situation, this thesis takes the Yuefu poems written by Liu Yuxi as research focus. By comparing with whose different kinds of poems as well as the poems written by Bai Juyi, who was another famous poet in Mid-Tang Dynasty. We want to explore the features of Liu Yuxi'Yuefu poems from the content and the artistic form two aspects. After all, we hope to achieve an entire mastery of Liu Yuxi'Yuefu poems and give some remarks on their status.This thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter One is the introduction.
