| This paper is a primary study on Chuang-Tzu's "ego" theory in the reference of certain western theory on the theme of "self.First, it need to explain the different premise and background of Chuang-Tzu and western theory on "self, that is, the different attitude about the reality. In the history of western philosophy, the theory of "self is evolved with the development of the research which concern about knowledge itself and the reality. The uncertainty of knowledge itself needs a starting point, the starting point was established by Descarts with "Cogito, ergo sum", which make "Self become the rater of "knowledge" and "reality". But the concept of "self in Chuang-Tzu's theory was a concept on survival, or a concept on existence, that is, as an activity, rather than a rational main. The main state on "self in Chuang-Tzu's theory is "I Lose Myself. This paper attempt to reveal the state of consciousness of "I Lose Myself by consciousness analyzes. Through the inspection of self-consciousness which makes "distinction from I and other people" as a precondition in general psychology and philosophy, to prove the thinking of "I and other people are all the same" is reasonable. And proceeding from this, to describe the state of consciousness "I Lose Myself 'as' a non-reflective self-consciousness."There are several main dimensions in Chuang-tzu's "self, this paper inspect the two dimensions of natural and social. Chuang-tzu's "Tao" is an organic whole world, "Te" and "Xing" are the congenital givens from "Tao", the experience prceeding of this congenital givens constitute the inherent aspect of the "experience self"; "Tao" is the outside provisions of the "self, and there was a strong relationship between "self and "Tao", so "Tao" or "nature" has become the external aspects of "self. In the social dimension, the paper mainly discusses the two important principles in the social activities of self: "the principle of passengernism of the main" and" Anti-egocentric". " The principle of passengernism of the main " has its ontological basis, it is the logical extension of the passengernism of the main when it compare to the"Tao". "Anti- egocentric" is the inevitable requirement of value balance, and it has its own epistemology grounds, Chaos in "Ying-Di-Wang" is the best example for it. |
