Nowadays, morality has shown an intruding characteristic of pluralism, multiplicity and quick changes under the background of knowledge creation, economic reform and quick and changeable social development, and people's morality shows many features which are quite different from those in the past. As an important aspect of morality, prosocial behaviors of the university students also become multiplied. Thus it is very important to study and analyze the status quo of their prosocial behaviors. On the basis of the theoretical research, 771 undergraduate students from Huaibei Coal Industry Teachers' College and Nanjing Normal University are studied as the subjects, meanwhile, The Prosocial Tendencies Measurement Scale, Family Parenting Assessment Scale and Big Five Inventory are used as the instruments. In this thesis, the status quo and features of the university students' prosocial behaviors are analyzed, and the relationship between the types of the prosocial behaviors and the manners of education in their families and their personality traits are also studied. The following conclusions are reached:1. Of the types of university students' prosocial behaviors, the altruistic prosocial behavior is shown in most cases. And following are: emergent prosocial behavior, emotional prosocial behavior, compliant prosocial behavior, anonymous prosocial behavior, public prosocial behavior. If we use one participant's standard acores of all the six types as the comparison, we may find the type that is most superior in all the six types.2. On the whole, the factor that whether they are the only children in their families causes differences in the prosocial behaviors, but other factors don't. According to the analysis of the types, the following conclusions can be reached: in the aspect of the sexes, there are significant differences in altruistic prosocial behavior, Compliant prosocial behavior and Emotional prosocial behavior; in the aspect of the majors, there are significant differences in emergent prosocial behavior; in the aspect of the grades, there are significant differences in Altruistic prosocial behavior, Emotional prosocial behavior and emergent prosocial behavior; in the aspect of the education their parents received, that of the mothers causes significant differences in public prosocial behavior, and as that of the mothers decreases, public prosocial behavior of the children also decreases; in the aspect of the cities in which they study, there are significant differences in public prosocial behavior; in the aspect of where they are from, there are significant differences in anonymous prosocial behavior.3. The prosocial behaviors is closely correlated with the family parenting and it is also significantly correlated with the personality traits.
