Neuropsychoanalysis is a new scientific field which combines psychoanalysis and neuroscience together.The aim of neuropsychoanalysis is to combine the perspectives from psychoanalysis and neuroscience,promote the interdiscipline research.Neuropsychoanalysis has become the new paradigm for psychoanalysis in the 21 century.The dream of scientization of psychoanalysis started from Sigmund Freud.Through periods of alienation,collision,thaw and dialogue,psychoanalysis and neuroscience finally give birth to neuropyschoanalysis.The start publication of Neuro-Psychoanalysis in 1999 and the foundation of the international neuropsychoanalysis society mark the formal establishment of neuropsychoanalysis.Although hasn't a long history,neuropyshcoanalysis have developed rapidly and gained a harvest during these years.The methods of neuropyschoanalytic research consist of clinical-anatomical method by Mark Solms,analysis-wordlists method by Howard Shevrin, multiple observation and psychopharmacological method.The domains of neuropsychoanalytic research involve conscious and unconscious,emotion,dream and sleep,clinical research and so on.The foundation and development of Neuropsychoanalysis helps to the achievement of scientized psychoanalysis and personalized neuroscience.Meanwhile,this new research approach will promote the generation of new knowledge,build up "a new intellectual framework for psychiatry",and therefore provide substantial help to patients.
