| In this article, the basic features of Indian logic are made known through the exploration about the evolution history of Indian logic. On this basis, the universal logic is analyzed, and the essential task of logic is pointed out, according to Indian logic. Firstly, the life of Dharmakirti and of Brentano are introduced, the differences of academic mission between them are also researched, and the backgrounds and methods about the two logic system. Then, this article points out that the appearance of judgment is on the basis of confirmed acknowledgement, and that specific acknowledgement is called the result of pramana in Hetu-vidya , which is called evident in the system of Brentano. According to this point, judgment as a part of Anumana is pointed out, and its source must be the insight of partyaksam. The insight of partyaksam determines the generation of knowledge, and the natures of knowledge differ from each other due to the different features and types of partyaksam. In the system of Hetu-vidya theory, there are four types of partyaksa that determines the natures of knowledge, that is five senses partyaksam ,conscious partyaksam ,evident partyaksam and yoga partyaksam.But in the system of Brentano, the introspections that influence knowledge include Vorstellung, judgment, and emotion. So in this article, the theory of judgment is systematically illuminated according to the basic document of Hetu-vidya theory and relative works of Brentano on this basis. |
