| Because of wide source, stable performance, and the character close to the murals, lime cream and its composite materials have been widely used for the remedy and protection of frescos that have_been torn off. However, in the past long-term period, the domestic studies of lime cream mostly focused on the descriptions of practical application, and there are rare studies on the performance of the material itself and the relationship between the material and the process. This paper takes processing technology of lime cream materials as the major study object, and explores relationship between production process and performance of basic lime cream and mixed system.Based on the summarization on the traditional manufacturing process of lime cream, the paper uses orthogonal test method to discuss the influence of lime slake temperature, digestion water temperature, raw material particle size on basic lime cream respectively, as well as the influence of additional materials on the performance of lime cream mixed system. The results are as follows:1. Orthogonal experiment results shows that the maximal influence factors on the contractibility, air permeability, exudation, and compressive strength of basic white paste materials are lime slake temperature, digestion water temperature and particle size of raw materials;2. For the basic material, the contractibility decreases when the lime slake temperature increases, air permeability increases when the digestion temperature decreases, and the raw material particle size of lime cream has a positive impact on its compressive strength;3. Through the X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analysis, when the lime slake time increases, the content of calcite will increase and the content of aragonite will decrease gradually in the lime cream system; lime slake time;4.The maximal influence factors on the contractibility, compressive strength, and water absorbency of lime cream mixed system are lime slake time, sand content, lime slake time;5. Orthogonal analysis shows that the increase in sand will heighten the compressive strength of lime cream mixed system, the contractibility of the system will decrease when the lime slake time of lime cream increases, and the water absorbency will increase when the limeslake time increases. |
