| With a unique data set, this paper studies enterprises' development environment and entrepreneurs' happiness. The determinant factors of entrepreneurs' happiness and mental health are examined, and their correlativity is studied. Our major finding in the determinant factors of entrepreneurs' happiness is: If an entrepreneur feels that government intervention makes enterprises' burden increasingly heavier, he would feel unhappy. In contrast, if the burden is lighter, entrepreneurs' happiness would not be significantly affected. Besides, we find higher level of income and education increases entrepreneurs' happiness, while the relationship between age and happiness is of inversed-U shape. Finally, entrepreneurs' sex, marital status and Hukou do not significantly affect happiness. Besides, the determinant factors of entrepreneurs' happiness including entrepreneurs' happiness toward his job, enterprise and family are examined.Regarding to the determinant factors of entrepreneurs' mental health, based on the mental health volume table, we examined entrepreneurs' mental health through two dimensionalities, which are depression and anxiety. Statistic analysis is made on the possible causes of entrepreneurs' mental health problems. The determinant factors of entrepreneurs' depression and anxiety lever are examined. We find that compared with entrepreneurs' happiness, when depression and anxiety are examined as dependent variables, their signs change little while their significances change a bit. Finally, we find that entrepreneurs' happiness and mental health is highly correlated with each other. The policy implications are concluded and pointed out. |
