Chang Yao,"the great poet in the history of the new poetry movement," "poet of poets", was always on his efforts to go beyond the suffering of life, athough was struck heavily by the rack of fate .At the same time , by this kind of struggling he has acquired a wiil of adamant , mindedness and wisdom. In his poets, some unique imagery and highly personalized symbol system such as land, love, ideals, and death not only expand the boundaries of poetry, but also show the character of a giants.Most importantly,Chang Yao got into a more general spirit space from an narrow one in the desperate time by his effort.This paper attempts to apply psychology, tracking Chang Yao'spiritual path, and was combined with knowledge of sociology, contacting the specific living circumstances and social change of Chang Yao's living time. while by the use of poetry to read Chang Yao'specific text, which attempts to cut into Chang Yao'poems by the angle of Changyao's predicament and the spiritual home,and to seize the meaning of two key words ,"isolation of the territory" and "spiritual home",then bring the implicit spirit of the main vein which is existing in Changyao'poems to light .Thereby ,we can anderstand Changyao's ideological content deeply.
