| In all types of teaching Chinese as a second language, Chinese language undergraduate major is the first-developed and the largest one in China. It is the main part of academic education and plays an important role in our process of internationalization of Chinese education. The scientific, standardization and modernization of the major will effectively promote the development of the education. As a core of the teaching program, Curriculum set-up is the main way to achieve teaching objectives and decompose teaching content. The history of Chinese Language undergraduate major is not long. The latest ten years, it just has a large-scale development; therefore it is not very mature. This paper starts from the major curriculum set-up to find out the problems and issues from a different point of view. The paper includes the following six parts:Chapterâ… is an introduction. This part is to present the paper's purpose and significance, review issues and drawbacks related with the research, define the object of this study and research ideas and methods.Chapterâ…¡, through describing the Curriculum set-up's history and present situation, the study shows the layout of the existing curriculum, class and curriculum longitudinal and transverse structural features.Chapterâ…¢, through combining the characteristics and trends of the curriculum set-up with the major's nature and feathers, we put forward the basis and standards for curriculum, and thus provide the theoretical basis for the following courses. This section is the theoretical basis of this study.Chapterâ…£, it's about the main problems of the curriculum. We analyze the current curriculum's outstanding problems from the course concepts, course structures and course contents:First, on the course concepts, the traditional concepts bind the hands and feet; Secondly, on the structures of the curriculum, individual courses not reasonable;the proportion of hidden and dominant curriculum is not enough coordination; language courses and cultural courses in the proportion of insufficient coordination; Finally, on the course contents, part of the selected text is out of fashion; the arrangement of vocabulary is unreasonable; teaching and training schedule is unfocused.Chapterâ…¤, we propose the measures for improving the curriculum set-up to be aimed for the problems in the previous chapter. First, on the curriculum concepts, we should introduce the modern curriculum concepts, including studying the new teaching model, using modern teaching methods, increasing style and pragmatic awareness, establishing the concepts of combining common and individual characteristics. Secondly, on the course structures, we should optimize course structures, including optimizing the single course, optimizing structure of the dominant curriculum and hidden curriculum, optimizing the structure of language courses and culture courses. Finally, on the course contents, we should update the course contents and highlight the keys of teaching and training, including updating the contents of selected text, introducing stylistic knowledge, increasing the communicative practice, highlighting the reading and writing, focusing on discourse, discourse express training.Chapterâ…¥is the conclusion.
