National Cultural Soft Power Of Philosophical Reflection

With the times progress and global development, the original world pattern and operation mode is undergoing changes. Single-minded pursuit of economic and military power is not the main objective for nations any longer. With the high-tech development, we have entered into a world stage with almost no "boundaries" in which culture is having an unimaginable affect on everyone's life and affecting country's development direction.In the special historical condition, the Harvard professor Joseph·Nye firstly coined the "soft power" concept which is defined as "the ability to obtain what one wants through attraction and the use of coercion and payment originated from a country's culture, political ideas and policy appealing. " Once proposed, it has aroused worldwide attention, becoming a new theoretical research field.Culture soft power is a concentrated expression of the country's comprehensive national strength. Culture, as a soft power, is undergoing the unprecedented importance in the era of globalization; it has risen to a new level of national strategy and new demand to enhance the international competitiveness. To a certain extent, the damage to the national cultural soft power is actually the harm of international interests.I think the academic discussion of "cultural soft power" should research on prompting its practical significance specifically under the Chinese culture context, accurately grasp and combine with the present national condition.In the reference and discriminating information on the basis of studying of the essence from predecessors, the article is to analyze the essence of "cultural soft power" in a philosophical perspective by using the methodology of induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis as well as abstract and generalization to process the obtained information ideologically so that we could discard the dross and select the essential, proceed from the exterior to the interior to understand the essence of things, revealing the inherent laws of cultural soft power, deeply excavate its subject and object, the formation and composition and intrinsic properties.The importance of this thesis is to enhance the strategies and countermeasures of competitiveness of China's traditional culture on account of the status of our country at the present stage of cultural development, clarify national interests and strategic goals of national culture, accurately grasp the competitive trends of national culture under the conditions of contemporary history, objectively analyze China's traditional culture competitive strengths and weaknesses, so as to provide a theoretical support for the great conceptual transaction of establishing a full range of major cultural development strategy. In short, for the research in the field of "cultural soft power", this article maintains that, it must be based on specific scientific analysis to establish a complete theoretical framework, as to make recommendations of how to promote China's culture soft power to enhance the strengthen the competitiveness of the national culture.
