Cesar August Franck (1822-1890) is a representative composer of the late 19th century French music period. His creation of the"the Societe Nationale de Musique"is aimed at restoring the French music tradition and promoting the creation of instrument music. Franck's major works cover chamber, symphony and piano, combining classic style with romantic style, expressed his love and devotion to religious affairs."Prelude, Choral and Fugue", as a key piano piece of Franck's late work, have a profound impact on the evolution of French music style. This thesis use progressive analysis to elucidate and expose the music genius of Franck, starting from the history of Franck's childhood development to the path of his music life, to bring about a strong focus on style analysis and technical exposition of Franck's"Prelude, Choral and Fugue".
