Citizen Participation In Network Public Opinion And Public Decision - Making

In recent years, the rapid development of the Internet provides a new way for citizens to express their ideas and demands. Compared with the traditional public opinion, network public is limitless. People actively. There is a tendency that participating in policy formulation is the future direction of citizen participation in public decision-making. This research aims to find out the impact of network public opinion on China’s public decision-making. After introducing the basic concepts and basic theoretical, I analyzed of the necessity of network public opinion participating in public decision-making. However, by studying current network users and the situation of public opinion, I found that network public opinion has some disadvantages. Finally, I made a suggestion to public managers that the public decision-making body should put forward countermeasures, standardized network public opinion, utilizing network media rationally, and improve the quality of public decision-making.
